We’re always looking for storytellers who can make the world feel a little softer and a little more magical.

Do you write stories that wrap around the reader like a hand-knit sweater? Cozy Nook Publishing welcomes submissions that speak to the heart, delight the imagination, and honor the power of comfort in storytelling.

We’re currently seeking manuscripts in the following genres:

  • Young Adult Fiction with gentle pacing and strong character focus

  • Fantasy that centers emotional journeys, cozy settings, and creative worldbuilding

  • Children’s Books that celebrate diversity, mental wellness, and wonder

  • Other stories that are cozy fantasy, cozy mystery, cozy space opera, cozy thriller, cozy comedy, cozy cosmic horror, cozy tragedy, cozy cyberpunk, cozy historical fiction, cozy romance, cozy sci-fi, cozy science-fiction, and cozy dystopia.

We especially love:

  • Narratives with both words and art

  • Relatable protagonists and inclusive representation

  • Themes of belonging, emotional resilience, and joyful quietude

Submission Guidelines

We are currently taking submissions for cozy fiction books. We would love to hear about you and your stories.

Please send us:

  • A Cover Letter:

    A brief, one-page letter explaining the project and why Cozy Nook Publishing should consider it. It should include:

    • Synopsis:

      A concise summary of the book's key ideas. 

    • Target Audience:

      A description of the intended readership and why they would be interested in the book. 

  • Author's Qualifications/Resume/CV:

    Highlight relevant experience, previous publications, and any special expertise. What makes you special?

  • Sample Content (optional):

    Include a sample chapters or illustrations to showcase the writing style and content. 

  • Completion Date:

    An estimated timeframe for manuscript completion.
